Wrong path

"After the revolution, we took a wrong path". These are the words of film director Sergiu Nicolaescu, when asked about his opinion on the evolution of romanian society after the fall of communism, in an interview he took a few years before his death. I can't but completely agree. Especially when listening to stories of old people, who lived though the red years, and a few before.

Yesterday I was at the Cozia Mountain Run (as a spectator, not a participant :) ), and I had the chance to "catch" two beautiful images, somewhere near Turnu Monastery.

Rex

He followed us on our way from Greweln to Păucea, over the hills. He came out of nowhere, without making a sound, so that we heard the noise of its paws through the snow only when he was very close. What a scare! He vanished some time later, without any notice. Our pace was probably too slow for him. You can't see it here, but his other eye was not blue and sparkling like a husky, but dark, like a common dog. He was a half breed, yet didn't care. He looked like the happiest dog on earth. You should have seen him playing in the snow. Simplicity and freedom at its finest level.
